ClimateScore provides informational climate risk assessments for properties in Victoria, Australia. Our scores aggregate publicly available data from government sources including but not limited to:

  • Country Fire Authority (CFA) bushfire maps
  • Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) weather data
  • Melbourne Water flood overlays
  • VicEmergency historical records
  • Council planning overlays
  • Insurance Council data

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • Timeliness: While we strive to update data regularly, there may be delays in reflecting the most current information.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

ClimateScore and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Insurance claims or denials

  • Financial losses of any kind

Maximum Liability: In any event, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (currently $0 for free tier).

6. User Responsibilities

  • Not rely solely on ClimateScore for property decisions
  • Conduct independent due diligence including professional inspections

  • Not redistribute or resell our data without permission

Our risk scores are calculated using publicly available government data. Our methodology includes:
